PriyoKhata is designed to help small businesses manage customer transactions, debts, inventory, wallet balances, and business records in a simple and organized way.

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how PriyoKhata collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the application.

By using the PriyoKhata application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When users create an account or sign in using email authentication or Google Sign-In, we may collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Profile information (if provided by Google)

This information is used only for authentication, account management, and data synchronization.

Customer Information

PriyoKhata allows users to manage customer records for business purposes.

Users may add and store:

• Customer name
• Phone number
• Transaction records
• Due amounts

• Notes related to transactions

This data is created and controlled by the user.

Customer data may be stored:

• Locally on the user’s device
• Securely in cloud storage using Firebase services when cloud synchronization or backup is enabled.

Contact Access (READ_CONTACTS Permission)

PriyoKhata may request permission to access your device contacts.

This permission is used only to help users quickly select a phone number from their contact list when adding a customer.

Instead of typing numbers manually, users can choose a phone number directly from their device contacts.

Important details:

• Contact access is optional
• PriyoKhata does not upload or store your entire contact list
• Only the selected phone number is used to create a customer entry
• The app does not scan or collect all contacts
• Contact data remains only on the user's device

Users may deny or revoke this permission anytime from their device settings.

Business and Transaction Data

PriyoKhata allows users to store various business-related information including:

• Customer credit transactions
• Payment records
• Supplier transactions
• Product inventory
• Stock quantities
• Purchase and selling prices
• Wallet balances (such as bKash, Nagad, Bank accounts etc.)
• Business notes

This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the application.

Device Information

To improve application performance and stability, limited device information may be collected automatically, such as:

• Device model
• Android OS version
• App version
• Crash reports
• Usage analytics

This information helps diagnose issues and improve the application.

3. Permissions Used

PriyoKhata may request the following permissions to operate properly.

• INTERNET

  Used to connect to Firebase cloud services for authentication, data synchronization, analytics, and backup.

• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

  Used to check whether internet connectivity is available before performing network operations.

• READ_CONTACTS

  Used only to allow users to select a phone number from their contact list when adding a customer.

• CAMERA

  Used to allow users to capture profile photos, transaction attachments, and product inventory photos.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  Used to send important notifications such as updates, reminders, or system messages.

  Users can disable notifications anytime from device settings.

• USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT

  Used to allow users to securely unlock the app using device fingerprint or biometric authentication.

4. Third-Party Services

PriyoKhata uses trusted third-party services to provide core functionality. These services may collect limited information according to their own privacy policies.

Google Firebase

PriyoKhata uses Google Firebase services for app functionality, authentication, cloud backup, analytics, crash reporting, and configuration management. These services include:

• Firebase Authentication (user sign-in and authentication)
• Cloud Firestore Database (secure cloud data storage and sync)
• Firebase Analytics (understanding app performance and usage)
• Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting and stability monitoring)

SMS Service Provider

PriyoKhata uses third-party SMS providers to deliver transaction reminders and customer notifications.

SMS Provider: Receives only the recipient's phone number and message content to deliver your reminders. Bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

5. Data Storage and Security

All your business accounts, customer ledgers, transactions, and backup data are securely transferred and stored in our highly secured, protected first-party cloud servers. We strictly implement industry-standard HTTPS and TLS/SSL encryption protocols to ensure that your financial and personal information is safeguarded against any unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

We take reasonable measures to protect user data.

PriyoKhata uses security technologies including:

• Secure Firebase infrastructure
• Encrypted communication using HTTPS / SSL
• Android platform security features
• Encrypted storage for sensitive data such as PIN codes

Data stored locally on your device remains under your control.

However, no internet transmission method is completely secure.

6. Data Backup and Synchronization

PriyoKhata may offer optional cloud backup and synchronization features.

When enabled, your business data may be stored securely in Firebase cloud services.

This allows users to:

• Restore data after reinstalling the app
• Access the same data across multiple devices
• Protect business records from device loss

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Users have full control over their data.

Users may:

• Delete individual transactions
• Remove customer records
• Delete inventory products
• Remove notes or wallet entries

Deleted records cannot be recovered unless a backup exists.

8. Children's Privacy

PriyoKhata is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If such data is discovered, it will be removed immediately.

9. Business Disclaimer

PriyoKhata is designed only as a business ledger and accounting tool.

The application does not provide:

12. Account Deletion

PriyoKhata allows users to permanently delete their account directly from the application.

Users can delete their account from:

Settings → More Settings → Delete Account

For security purposes, the following steps are required:

• Tap Delete Account
• A warning message will appear explaining that the account and related data will be permanently removed
• Confirm the action
• Enter your PIN code again to verify identity

After confirmation:

• The account will be permanently deleted
• Cloud stored data may also be removed
• Access to the account will be disabled
• Deleted data cannot be recovered

13. In-App Updates

To ensure you always have the latest and most secure version of our app, we use the 'Google Play Core' library for in-app updates. This feature checks for available updates and facilitates the download and installation process within the app. To provide this service, Google may collect certain technical data, such as device identifiers, OS version, and app version status. This information is used solely for app functionality and is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

14. Meta (Facebook SDK)

We use Meta (Facebook SDK) to analyze app usage and promote our application through advertising.

The Facebook SDK may automatically collect certain information such as device information, advertising identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID), and app activity (such as interactions within the app).

This data is used for analytics, attribution, and advertising purposes to improve user experience.

We do not directly collect personal data beyond what is necessary for app functionality. Any data collected by Meta is processed according to their own privacy policies.

15. Camera Permission

PriyoKhata may request access to your device's camera to allow users to capture images directly within the app.

The camera is used only for the following purposes:

• Capturing a customer's profile photo.
• Attaching images to customer transaction records or reports.
• Capturing product photos for inventory management.

The camera is activated only when the user chooses to take a photo.

PriyoKhata does not access the camera in the background and does not capture photos without the user's knowledge or consent.

Photos captured through the app are stored locally on the user's device as part of their business records. PriyoKhata does not upload or back up these images to cloud storage.

The app does not use camera images for advertising, facial recognition, or any unrelated purpose.

Users may deny or revoke this permission at any time through their device settings.

16. Biometric Authentication (Fingerprint Login)

PriyoKhata offers an optional biometric authentication feature, such as fingerprint authentication, to help users securely unlock the app.

Important information:

• Biometric authentication is completely optional.
• Fingerprint authentication is performed entirely by the Android operating system using the device's secure biometric framework.
• PriyoKhata does not collect, access, store, upload, or share your fingerprint, face data, or any other biometric information.
• The app only receives a confirmation from the Android system indicating whether the biometric authentication was successful.
• No biometric data is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
• Users can enable or disable fingerprint login at any time from the app settings or device settings.

17. Device Information and Account Security

To help protect your account and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, abuse, and suspicious activity, PriyoKhata may collect and securely store limited device and network information when you access or use our services.

This information may include:

• Device model and device name
• IP address
• App version and operating system version
• Login history, timestamp, and last active time
• Details regarding active devices currently associated with your account

We use this information strictly for the following purposes:

• Safeguarding your account against unauthorized access or account takeover
• Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent or malicious activities
• Managing and monitoring active devices connected to your account
• Enforcing account-level security thresholds and device limits
• Investigating potential security incidents or system vulnerabilities
• Enhancing the overall security, stability, and reliability of our platform

To maintain account integrity, PriyoKhata may limit the maximum number of active devices permitted per account. If suspicious or unauthorized activity is detected, we reserve the right to apply appropriate security measures, including terminating active sessions. We strictly do not sell this data or use it for advertising purposes. Furthermore, PriyoKhata does not collect persistent hardware identifiers such as IMEI, IMSI, SIM serial numbers, or device serial numbers for account tracking or security enforcement.

18. IP Address

When you interact with PriyoKhata services, our servers automatically receive and record your IP address as part of standard internet communication protocols.

We process IP address data exclusively for:

• Account verification and security enforcement
• Fraud prevention and abuse monitoring
• Identifying abnormal or suspicious login attempts
• Protecting our network infrastructure from unauthorized access or cyber threats

All IP address logs are securely maintained on our protected servers and are never shared with or sold to third-party brokers.

19. Active Device Management

PriyoKhata maintains records of devices currently authenticated to your account to prevent unauthorized use and assist in session management. Users retain full control to review active sessions and remotely disconnect or log out recognized/unrecognized devices via the in-app security settings.

20. Google Play Billing

PriyoKhata utilizes the official Google Play Billing system to process transactions for digital goods, subscriptions, and premium features.

All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play. PriyoKhata does not collect, receive, or store any sensitive payment credentials, such as credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or direct banking details.

To fulfill and manage your digital purchases, we may receive and retain non-sensitive transaction metadata from Google Play, including:

• Specific digital product or premium package identifier
• Transaction ID and purchase token
• Order status and verification timestamp
• Subscription entitlement and renewal status

We utilize this transaction metadata exclusively to:

• Verify and validate purchases
• Grant access to purchased premium features and entitlements
• Manage recurring subscriptions and entitlements
• Mitigate transaction fraud and abusive chargebacks
• Enable product restoration across eligible devices
• Maintain accurate accounting, billing, and operational records

All direct payment processing is governed by Google Play’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. PriyoKhata has no direct access to your primary payment methods or underlying financial information.

21. SMS Service Provider

PriyoKhata uses third-party SMS gateway providers to send transaction alerts, payment reminders, and customer notifications on your behalf.

SMS Provider: Receives only the recipient's phone number and message content to deliver your reminders. Bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

১. ভূমিকা

PriyoKhata একটি ডিজিটাল ব্যবসায়িক খাতা অ্যাপ যা Surjo Labs দ্বারা তৈরি করা হয়েছে।

এই অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে ব্যবহারকারীরা কাস্টমারের দেনা-পাওনা, লেনদেন, পণ্যের স্টক, ওয়ালেট ব্যালেন্স এবং ব্যবসার হিসাব সহজে সংরক্ষণ করতে পারেন।

২. আমরা যে তথ্য সংগ্রহ করি

৩. কন্টাক্ট পারমিশন

PriyoKhata ব্যবহারকারীর অনুমতি নিয়ে ফোনের কন্টাক্ট থেকে নম্বর নির্বাচন করার সুবিধা দিতে পারে।

এই পারমিশন ব্যবহার করা হয় শুধুমাত্র:

• নতুন কাস্টমার যোগ করার সময় ফোন নম্বর দ্রুত নির্বাচন করার জন্য।
• অ্যাপ সম্পূর্ণ কন্টাক্ট লিস্ট সংগ্রহ বা সংরক্ষণ করে না।

৪. ডাটা সুরক্ষা

ব্যবহারকারীর তথ্য সুরক্ষার জন্য নিরাপদ প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করা হয় যেমন:

• নিরাপদ সার্ভার অবকাঠামো
• এনক্রিপ্টেড যোগাযোগ

৫. অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলা

ব্যবহারকারীরা চাইলে অ্যাপের ভেতর থেকেই তাদের অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে ফেলতে পারেন।

পথ:

সেটিংস → আরো সেটিংস → অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন

নিরাপত্তার জন্য:

• প্রথমে সতর্কবার্তা দেখানো হবে
• তারপর ব্যবহারকারীকে নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
• এরপর PIN দিয়ে আবার যাচাই করতে হবে

নিশ্চিত করার পরে অ্যাকাউন্ট ও সংশ্লিষ্ট ডাটা স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে যেতে পারে।

৬. ইন-অ্যাপ আপডেট (In-App Updates)

আমরা আমাদের অ্যাপটিকে সর্বদা সচল এবং নিরাপদ রাখতে 'Google Play Core' লাইব্রেরি ব্যবহার করি। এই সুবিধার মাধ্যমে আপনার ডিভাইসে অ্যাপের নতুন ভার্সন চেক করা হয় এবং ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডে আপডেট ডাউনলোড করার সুবিধা দেওয়া হয়। এই প্রক্রিয়াটি সম্পন্ন করার জন্য গুগল কিছু প্রযুক্তিগত তথ্য (যেমন: ডিভাইসের আইডি, ওএস ভার্সন এবং অ্যাপের বর্তমান ভার্সন) সংগ্রহ করতে পারে। এই তথ্যগুলো শুধুমাত্র অ্যাপের পারফরম্যান্স এবং ফাংশনালিটি নিশ্চিত করার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং তা গুগলের নিজস্ব প্রাইভেসি পলিসি অনুযায়ী সংরক্ষিত থাকে।

৭. ক্যামেরা পারমিশন (Camera Permission)

PriyoKhata অ্যাপের ভেতর সরাসরি ছবি তোলার জন্য ডিভাইসের ক্যামেরা ব্যবহারের অনুমতি চাইতে পারে।

ক্যামেরা শুধুমাত্র নিম্নলিখিত উদ্দেশ্যে ব্যবহৃত হয়:

• কাস্টমারের প্রোফাইল ছবি তোলার জন্য।
• কাস্টমারের লেনদেন রেকর্ড বা রিপোর্টে ছবি যুক্ত করার জন্য।
• ইনভেন্টরি ম্যানেজমেন্টের জন্য পণ্যের ছবি তোলার জন্য।

ব্যবহারকারী ছবি তোলার সিদ্ধান্ত নিলেই কেবল ক্যামেরা সক্রিয় হয়।

PriyoKhata ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডে ক্যামেরা ব্যবহার করে না এবং ব্যবহারকারীর অজান্তে ছবি তোলে না।

অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে তোলা ছবিগুলো ব্যবহারকারীর ডিভাইসে লোকালি সংরক্ষিত থাকে। PriyoKhata ক্লাউড স্টোরেজে এই ছবিগুলো আপলোড বা ব্যাকআপ করে না।

অ্যাপটি বিজ্ঞাপন, ফেসিয়াল রিকগনিশন বা কোনো অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত উদ্দেশ্যে ক্যামেরার ছবি ব্যবহার করে না।

ব্যবহারকারীরা যেকোনো সময় তাদের ডিভাইস সেটিংস থেকে এই অনুমতি অস্বীকার বা বাতিল করতে পারেন।

৮. বায়োমেট্রিক অথেন্টিকেশন (ফিংগারপ্রিন্ট লগইন)

PriyoKhata অ্যাপকে নিরাপদে আনলক করতে ব্যবহারকারীদের জন্য ফিংগারপ্রিন্ট অথেন্টিকেশনের সুবিধা ঐচ্ছিক (optional) হিসেবে প্রদান করে।

গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্যসমূহ:

• বায়োমেট্রিক অথেন্টিকেশন সম্পূর্ণ ঐচ্ছিক।
• ফিংগারপ্রিন্ট অথেন্টিকেশন সম্পূর্ণভাবে অ্যান্ড্রয়েড অপারেটিং সিস্টেমের সিকিউর বায়োমেট্রিক ফ্রেমওয়ার্কের মাধ্যমে সম্পন্ন হয়।
• PriyoKhata আপনার ফিংগারপ্রিন্ট, ফেস ডাটা বা অন্য কোনো বায়োমেট্রিক তথ্য সংগ্রহ, অ্যাক্সেস, সংরক্ষণ, আপলোড বা শেয়ার করে না।
• অ্যান্ড্রয়েড সিস্টেম থেকে অ্যাপটি কেবল অথেন্টিকেশন সফল বা ব্যর্থ হয়েছে কি না তা জানতে পারে।
• কোনো বায়োমেট্রিক তথ্য আমাদের সার্ভারে বা কোনো তৃতীয় পক্ষের কাছে পাঠানো হয় না।
• ব্যবহারকারীরা যেকোনো সময় অ্যাপ সেটিংস বা ডিভাইস সেটিংস থেকে ফিংগারপ্রিন্ট লগইন চালু বা বন্ধ করতে পারেন।

৯. ফায়ারবেস সার্ভিসেস এবং রিমোট কনফিগ (Firebase Services & Remote Config)

PriyoKhata অ্যাপের স্থিতিশীলতা, পারফরম্যান্স ও কনফিগারেশন পরিচালনার জন্য আমরা Google Firebase-এর সেবা (যেমন: Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging এবং Firebase Remote Config) ব্যবহার করি। রিমোট কনফিগের মাধ্যমে অ্যাপের প্রয়োজনীয় ফিচার কনফিগারেশন ও সিস্টেম আপডেট নিরাপদে ও নির্বিঘ্নে পরিচালনা করা হয়।

১০. ডিভাইস তথ্য ও অ্যাকাউন্ট নিরাপত্তা (Device Information & Account Security)

আপনার অ্যাকাউন্ট সুরক্ষিত রাখতে এবং অননুমোদিত অ্যাক্সেস, জালিয়াতি ও সন্দেহজনক কার্যক্রম প্রতিরোধ করতে প্রিয়খাতা সীমিত ডিভাইস ও নেটওয়ার্ক তথ্য (যেমন: ডিভাইসের মডেল, আইপি অ্যাড্রেস, অ্যাপ ভার্সন, লগইন হিস্টোরি ও সক্রিয় ডিভাইস তালিকা) নিরাপদে সংরক্ষণ করতে পারে। আমরা কখনোই এই ডাটা বিজ্ঞাপন বা বিক্রয়ের কাজে ব্যবহার করি না এবং কোনো সংবেদনশীল হার্ডওয়্যার আইডি (যেমন: IMEI, IMSI) সংগ্রহ করি না।

১১. আইপি অ্যাড্রেস (IP Address)

সার্ভার যোগাযোগ ও ইন্টারনেট প্রোটোকলের অংশ হিসেবে আইপি অ্যাড্রেস স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে সংরক্ষিত হতে পারে, যা কেবল অ্যাকাউন্ট যাচাইকরণ, জালিয়াতি প্রতিরোধ এবং সিস্টেমের নিরাপত্তা সুরক্ষার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়।

১২. সক্রিয় ডিভাইস ব্যবস্থাপনা (Active Device Management)

অননুমোদিত ব্যবহার রোধ করতে আপনার অ্যাকাউন্টে লগইন থাকা সক্রিয় ডিভাইসসমূহের তালিকা অ্যাপের ভেতর প্রদর্শন করা হয়। ব্যবহারকারী চাইলে যেকোনো সময় অ্যাপের সিকিউরিটি সেটিংস থেকে যেকোনো ডিভাইস রিমোটলি লগআউট বা ডিসকানেক্ট করতে পারেন।

১৩. গুগল প্লে বিলিং (Google Play Billing)

ডিজিটাল পণ্য, প্রিমিয়াম ফিচার ও সাবস্ক্রিপশনের জন্য প্রিয়খাতা গুগলের অফিশিয়াল Google Play Billing সিস্টেম ব্যবহার করে। সকল আর্থিক লেনদেন সরাসরি গুগল দ্বারা নিরাপদে পরিচালিত হয়। প্রিয়খাতা কোনো ক্রেডিট/ডেবিট কার্ড বা ব্যাংকিং তথ্য সংরক্ষণ বা গ্রহণ করে না।

১৪. এসএমএস প্রদানকারী সেবা (SMS Provider)

কাস্টমারদের বকেয়া বা লেনদেনের রিমাইন্ডার বার্তা পাঠানোর জন্য প্রিয়খাতা তৃতীয় পক্ষের এসএমএস গেটওয়ে বা প্রোভাইডার ব্যবহার করতে পারে।

SMS Provider: রিমাইন্ডার পৌঁছে দেওয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে শুধুমাত্র প্রাপকের ফোন নম্বর এবং মেসেজের বিষয়বস্তু (message content) গ্রহণ করে। তারা তাদের নিজস্ব গোপনীয়তা এবং নিরাপত্তা নীতি অনুযায়ী এই তথ্য সুরক্ষিত রাখতে দায়বদ্ধ।
