By using the PriyoKhata application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When users create an account or sign in using email authentication or Google Sign-In, we may collect:

• Profile information (if provided by Google)

This information is used only for authentication, account management, and data synchronization.

Customer Information

PriyoKhata allows users to manage customer records for business purposes.

Users may add and store:

• Customer name
• Phone number
• Transaction records
• Due amounts

• Notes related to transactions

This data is created and controlled by the user.

Customer data may be stored:

• Locally on the user’s device
• Securely in cloud storage using Firebase services when cloud synchronization or backup is enabled.

Contact Access (READ_CONTACTS Permission)

PriyoKhata may request permission to access your device contacts.

This permission is used only to help users quickly select a phone number from their contact list when adding a customer.

Instead of typing numbers manually, users can choose a phone number directly from their device contacts.

Important details:

• Contact access is optional
• PriyoKhata does not upload or store your entire contact list
• Only the selected phone number is used to create a customer entry
• The app does not scan or collect all contacts
• Contact data remains only on the user's device

Users may deny or revoke this permission anytime from their device settings.

Business and Transaction Data

PriyoKhata allows users to store various business-related information including:

• Customer credit transactions
• Payment records
• Supplier transactions
• Product inventory
• Stock quantities
• Purchase and selling prices
• Wallet balances (such as bKash, Nagad, Bank accounts etc.)
• Business notes

This information is used only to provide the core functionality of the application.

Device Information

To improve application performance and stability, limited device information may be collected automatically, such as:

• Device model
• Android OS version
• App version
• Crash reports
• Usage analytics

This information helps diagnose issues and improve the application.

3. Permissions Used

PriyoKhata may request the following permissions to operate properly.

• INTERNET

  Used to connect to Firebase cloud services for authentication, data synchronization, analytics, and backup.

• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE

  Used to check whether internet connectivity is available before performing network operations.

• READ_CONTACTS

  Used only to allow users to select a phone number from their contact list when adding a customer.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS

  Used to send important notifications such as updates, reminders, or system messages.

  Users can disable notifications anytime from device settings.

4. Third-Party Services

PriyoKhata uses trusted third-party services to provide core functionality. These services may collect limited information according to their own privacy policies.

Data stored locally on your device remains under your control.

However, no internet transmission method is completely secure.

6. Data Backup and Synchronization

PriyoKhata may offer optional cloud backup and synchronization features.

When enabled, your business data may be stored securely in Firebase cloud services.

This allows users to:

• Restore data after reinstalling the app
• Access the same data across multiple devices
• Protect business records from device loss

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Users have full control over their data.

Users may:

• Delete individual transactions
• Remove customer records
• Delete inventory products
• Remove notes or wallet entries

Deleted records cannot be recovered unless a backup exists.

8. Children's Privacy

PriyoKhata is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If such data is discovered, it will be removed immediately.

12. Account Deletion

PriyoKhata allows users to permanently delete their account directly from the application.

Users can delete their account from:

Settings → More Settings → Delete Account

For security purposes, the following steps are required:

• Tap Delete Account
• A warning message will appear explaining that the account and related data will be permanently removed
• Confirm the action
• Enter your PIN code again to verify identity

After confirmation:

• The account will be permanently deleted
• Cloud stored data may also be removed
• Access to the account will be disabled
• Deleted data cannot be recovered

13. In-App Updates

To ensure you always have the latest and most secure version of our app, we use the 'Google Play Core' library for in-app updates. This feature checks for available updates and facilitates the download and installation process within the app. To provide this service, Google may collect certain technical data, such as device identifiers, OS version, and app version status. This information is used solely for app functionality and is handled in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

14. Meta (Facebook SDK)

We use Meta (Facebook SDK) to analyze app usage and promote our application through advertising. এই পারমিশন ব্যবহার করা হয় শুধুমাত্র:

• নতুন কাস্টমার যোগ করার সময় ফোন নম্বর দ্রুত নির্বাচন করার জন্য।
• অ্যাপ সম্পূর্ণ কন্টাক্ট লিস্ট সংগ্রহ বা সংরক্ষণ করে না।

৪. ডাটা সুরক্ষা

৫. অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলা

ব্যবহারকারীরা চাইলে অ্যাপের ভেতর থেকেই তাদের অ্যাকাউন্ট স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে ফেলতে পারেন।

পথ:

সেটিংস → আরো সেটিংস → অ্যাকাউন্ট মুছে ফেলুন

নিরাপত্তার জন্য:

• প্রথমে সতর্কবার্তা দেখানো হবে
• তারপর ব্যবহারকারীকে নিশ্চিত করতে হবে
• এরপর PIN দিয়ে আবার যাচাই করতে হবে

নিশ্চিত করার পরে অ্যাকাউন্ট ও সংশ্লিষ্ট ডাটা স্থায়ীভাবে মুছে যেতে পারে।

৬. ইন-অ্যাপ আপডেট (In-App Updates)
